9004 (HB2) / 9007 (HB5) bi-xenon Dual beam HID Kits offer real time lo and hi beam for your HID conversion. The positional change of the HID arc from the lo-beam filament position to the hi-beam filament position gives your HID lighting true lo and hi beam function from a single bulb.
9004 Dual beam / 9007 Bi-Xenon HID bulbs are an HID Xenon replacement bulb for its poor performing halogen counterpart. The bulbs pivots the arc source between the Lo/Hi beam position.
The beam production is in most cases exactly the same as with the Original Hb5 9007dual / Hb6 9004dual filament halogen bulbs. Only the light power visible on the road is extended 200% from the original level! Also the heat production of a xenon high intensity discharge bulb is only 60% of the original halogen application. Lumen amount (light amount) is increased from typical 1000lm to 3200lm.
The Osram 66040 based plasma tube bulbs feature an UV cut glass which prevents reflector from aging from UV radiation emitted from the bulb. Special UV Cut construction is used to eliminate plastic headlamp damage from UV radiation.
